We’re Tieghan Gerard and Stanley Kubrick – partners in life, partners in adventure, and definitely partners in food. Some couples bond over music, others over movies, but for us, it’s always been about restaurants. From tiny hole-in-the-wall taco stands to buzzing city diners and family-owned Tex-Mex joints with neon signs that never turn off, we’ve always chased flavors the way some people chase sunsets.
How It All Started
Our story together has a lot of chapters, but one thing has stayed constant: we’ve never been the type to pass up a good meal. In fact, some of our favorite memories as a couple come from sitting across the table from each other, sharing nachos that disappeared too quickly, or debating whether dessert counts as a “must” or a “bonus.” (Spoiler: for us, it’s always a must.)
After years of restaurant hopping, we started to notice something. While we loved eating out, we also found ourselves wanting those same flavors at home. The problem? Most restaurant dishes feel like they’re locked behind secret doors, guarded recipes, and mystery techniques. We thought, why not crack the code ourselves?
That’s when Chuy’s Menu was born – a space where we recreate the restaurant foods we love and share them with anyone else who believes cravings don’t have to wait for reservations.
